Teachers' Page

This page was developed as part of an action research project designed to fulfill the requirements of the Instructional Technology Ed.S program of Valdosta State University, Valdosta, Georgia. Teachers who visit this site are asked to investigate, utilize, and evaluate the following web aides. The focus of this research is to determine whether the use of a webpage such as this will encourage teachers to change their level of integration and attitude toward incorporating technology into the content areas.

Microsoft Office Online

Word is the word processing program of the Microsoft Office suite. With this program the user can create documents and reports. Frontpage and Dreamweaver are authoring and publishing software that make it easy to create and maintain web pages.
i4c Practice Modules
Excel lets you develop spreadsheets that display information in columns and rows which can then be organized and or processed. Inspiration is a visual learning tool that inspires students to develop and organize their ideas through the use of graphic organizers and concept maps.
FGCU Office 2000
PowerPoint is a presentation graphics package with which you can create slide presentations, handouts, outlines, etc... which include graphics, sound, and animations. Access is a program used to create and manage databases. A database is a type of electronic filing system organized by fields, records, and files.
